As I sit down to write this, all my engagements for the next two months have been canceled or "postponed". Trip to India canceled. Industry conferences, cancelled. Our in-person SEO training course, cancelled. Those who organize events do what it takes not to contribute to the spread of the new coronavirus. And that has an impact on businesses that depend on these gatherings. But opportunities arise from it. And while we may soon arrive at a place where we can meet again, in person, it's likely that we're facing a new normal in educational SEO meetings. That's because many are discovering the benefits of online learning and virtual events instead. Remote conferencing service Zoom has seen its stock increase during the pandemic. Its CEO predicted that the pandemic would cause a permanent change in the way people work and communicate.
